Position: Software Engineer III (San Ramon, CA) Robert Half International Inc., founded in 1948, is a $5.09

and skills to clients anywhere in the world. Duties: Analyze, design, develop, debug, test, and implement
PeopleSoft HCM (HR, Payroll, Benefits) and Time & Labor applications. Prepare
SDLC documentation and procedures for all phases of the software
development lifecycle. Interact with vendors and users to define system
requirements and modifications. Support developed applications in the
production environment. Develop large and complex modules and components of
larger system designs and release to production environment. Perform
code reviews, unit tests, planning and execution for software code validation
as well as reviewing unit test plans and results. Define integration
strategies, design, implement and deploy integration. Analyze and resolve
complex production issues. Perform Unix shell scripting and Java
Scripting when needed. Develop and manage custom bolt-on modules in a complex
environment. Create and maintain web services with internal and external
systems. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Electrical
Engineering, or related field and three (3) years of experience in PeopleSoft
design and development; or, in the alternative: a Bachelor’s degree (or
foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Computer Applications, Electrical Engineering, or related field and five
(5) years of experience as indicated above. Also requires demonstrated expertise (DE): performing design,
development, testing and deployment of PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 (HR, Benefits, and
Payroll) and Time and Labor applications; DE in design, development,
testing, deployment, and maintenance of PeopleSoft bolt-on modules and
Integrations, including secured file-based integrations with internal and
external systems; Web services using XML and SOAP; use of Object Oriented
languages, including Java, C++, and C#, and SQRs and COBOL for processing
and integration; DE performing Oracle performance tuning and query
development of complex processes, reports, integration using SQL tools;
DE participating in SOX audits, including extracting relevant data,
and delivering evidence and reports; DE interfacing with Business
Analysts (BA) and Business System Analysts (BSA) to gather and analyze
requirements, and collaborating with other IT teams and vendors throughout all
phases of PeopleSoft implementation projects; DE in applying Tax Updates,
Patches and Tools upgrades to PeopleSoft for compliance and maintenance; and
DE supporting accounting and compliance processes and interfaces
