Position Overview:

Siemens Mobility Customer Service is GROWING! We are seeking an experienced Commercial Financial Project Director to be responsible for the execution of a large multi-billion-dollar complex Transit project 30 years durations. In this role you will be responsible for commercial project execution during the life cycle of the project. Duties include collaborating closely with operational departments to ensure Order Income Calculation is achieved while meeting goals for customer satisfaction, cost, schedule, and quality. Another key role is to fulfill the role of the World Project Controller to ensure financial compliance on the World Project reporting level. The Director Commercial Project Manager is the supporting function of the Project Manager for all aspects of the project. This position reports to the Director, FBA.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Profit & loss for assigned projects.
  • Proactively lead changes in project scope, identify potential problems, and devise contingency plans from a cost perspective.
  • Supervise and control project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and collaborators.
  • Support PM with the development and delivery of monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal/external customers.
  • Coach, mentor, empower, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Support with identifying and resolving issues/conflicts within the project team.
  • Support customer sales channel activities.
    To thrive in this role, you have:
    • Bachelor's degree or in lieu of degree 12+ years of equivalent experience in Financial Project management of complex project.
    • PMI Certification or PM@Siemens B or A.
    • 8+ years of successful Financial Project Management experience in complex projects.
    • Ability to travel - 25%
    • Excellently demonstrated verbal, and written communication skills as well as demonstrated presentation skills.

The base salary range for this position in Sacramento, CA is $143,600-$194,400 and the annual incentive target is 15% of the base. The actual salary/wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
