hands.About the jobThis position is in the Enterprise Strategy and
Operations team within Twilio. As a senior analyst in this org, you
will partner with cross-functional teams across Finance, GTM,
Marketing, Product, etc. to deliver growth initiatives and
operational excellence through data-driven projects. You will work
closely with engineering teams to build automated datasets, key
metrics, provide easy-to-consume reporting and analysis to business
stakeholders across the company, and be a key partner in driving
Twilio's operational strategy.Our team has analysts supporting a
large variety of departments around the company. Though each team
member's specific projects may differ, our team is built to foster
an environment where everyone helps each other, we all grow
together, and we empower Twilio with data insights, self-service
reporting, analytical solutions, and teaching best
practices.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll:
- Conduct multi-disciplinary analysis to identify insights that
help drive revenue growth initiatives and work cross-functionally
to get the initiatives implemented.
- Develop data products that improve efficiency of partner teams
and identify right key metrics to assess performance for different
functional teams.
- Develop data process automation workflows to improve
effectiveness of stakeholders' analytics processes.
- Be a true partner to stakeholders, understand real questions
behind requests and advocate for the best long-term solutions.
- Be a true self-starter who identifies needs, writes
documentation for others, and takes ownership over analytic
products that may require inputs from multiple stakeholders.
- Partner with various business units including Finance, Go to
Market, Data Engineering etc. on requirements for new datasets and
metrics.
- Work on process automation and optimization across teams in
Twilio.
- Mentor junior analysts on the Business Intelligence team, as
well as coach business stakeholders to promote a data-savvy culture
in the organization.QualificationsNot all applicants will have

- 5+ years of professional experience in developing technical BI
and data analytics solutions in a fast-paced industry.
- Extensive experience with Tableau and/or Looker.
- Proven ability to make strategic recommendations based on data
to leadership.
- Experience working with SQL and relational and multidimensional
database schemas and designs.
- Experienced in machine learning and Data science, particularly
advanced forecasting techniques through either R or Python.
- Familiarity with project management and communicating
requirements to Engineering teams.
- Some experience in data engineering stack. E.g. working with
workflow orchestration tools and Spark.
- Awareness of latest updates in industry such as Large Language
Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation, Robotic Process
Automation concepts etc.
- Experienced in working with dispersed teams located across the
globe.LocationThis role will be remote but is not eligible to be
hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the
surrounding areas.TravelWe prioritize connection and opportunities
