advisor in driving a best-in-class employee experience, acting as
strategic advisors to the executive team and senior leadership, and
providing superior internal support while driving HR operational
excellence.About the RoleAs a Senior Compensation & People Analyst,
you will play a critical role in shaping Mixpanel's compensation
strategy and workforce analytics. You will report to the Manager of
Total Rewards and People Operations and provide strategic and
tactical analysis that helps us make critical decisions on
compensation, retention, and other employee-related initiatives.In
this role, you will own the analysis, delivery, tracking, and
recommendations that impact workforce metrics and compensation
strategy. You are detail-oriented, data-driven, and passionate
about using data to tell a compelling story-helping the People team
make informed, equitable, and impactful decisions. You will work
closely with the VP of People and other team members to build and
maintain competitive compensation structures, enhance HR analytics,
and improve efficiencies across the People
function.Responsibilities
- Drive and own projects that will improve the operational
effectiveness of our team and assist in our overall compensation
strategy.
- Own and scale HR metrics reporting including headcount,
attrition, diversity data, and more!
- Work as an advisor to the People team by providing data-driven
analysis and trends to support decision-making and making
recommendations based on trends in the market.
- Design and update People dashboards for the team and other
business units.
- Help build and maintain our Global compensation strategy and
program.
- Review compensation strategy and benchmark data semi-annually
to ensure market competitiveness.
- Contribute company data to participate in compensation
benchmarking tools and workflows.
- Analyze and map job positions to appropriate benchmark
data.
- Build and conduct compensation training for the
organization.
- Regularly audit data to ensure accuracy.
- Participate in other ad hoc projects with the broader
team.
- Leverage and evaluate tools to help automate and drive insights
and visibility.We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- 5+ years of experience with a focus on compensation or HR
analytics.
- Strong experience with compensation analysis, pay structures,
and benchmarking methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience with various compensation tools & HR systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for
detail.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to work
cross-functionally.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and
written.CompensationThe amount listed below is the total target
cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and
variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or
commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role
and level. In addition to the cash compensation provided, this
position is also eligible for equity consideration and other
benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage.
Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are
benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by
Radford, a global compensation database. The range displayed
represents the minimum and maximum TTCC for new hire salaries for
the position across all of our US locations. To stay on top of
market conditions, we refresh our salary ranges twice a year so
these ranges may change in the future. Within the range, individual
pay is determined by experience, job-related skills,
qualifications, and other factors.$169,000 - $206,500 USDBenefits
