About the RoleAs a Head of Brand Strategy, you'll take charge of
crafting Chime's strategic plan and brand narrative by diving deep
into market and consumer insights, as well as the broader cultural
context. Your collaboration will be extensive, touching base with
key team members from our brand marketing leadership to the CMO,
ensuring a synchronized and impactful approach across our branding
efforts. This role grants you the creative space to shape and drive
the brand's storytelling direction and calendar, backed by
substantial support to bring your vision to life.The base salary
offered for this role and level of experience will begin at
$193,860 and up to $274,700. Full-time employees are also eligible
for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual
base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location,
skills, qualifications, and experience.In this role, you can expect
to
- Establish long-term goals and objectives for Chime's brand,
ensuring they reflect the company mission and values. Craft an
engaging brand story to guide growth and awareness.
- Design and manage marketing campaign strategies while
collaborating with the creative team to maintain brand consistency.
Take ownership of the annual brand calendar, including the
selection of relevant stories and moments. Apply cultural insight
to identify suitable ambassadors and partnerships for authentic
storytelling and brand activation.
- Analyze consumer behavior to effectively position Chime's
brand, utilizing data analytics to guide marketing decisions. Use
market research insights to hone in on target audience profiles and
track brand performance metrics for strategic enhancement
opportunities.
- Oversee the execution of groundbreaking projects aimed at
boosting brand engagement, ensuring they align with the brand's
goals. Monitor the progress and effectiveness of these innovative
campaigns. Provide directional insights and feedback on creative
concepts to guarantee both innovation and consistency with the
brand's narrative.
- Identify cultural trends pertinent to Chime's brand and recruit
brand ambassadors and partners who reflect our values. Engage with
influencers and organizations for storytelling initiatives that
effectively resonate with a diverse consumer base.To thrive in this
role, you have
- Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and
executing multi-channel marketing roadmaps, ensuring alignment
between brand storytelling, growth objectives, and business
outcomes.
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration at
scale, influencing senior stakeholders and aligning diverse
teams-including creative, growth, and product marketing-to deliver
cohesive brand experiences.
- Expert-level knowledge of brand performance measurement
frameworks, with the ability to develop and refine proprietary
metrics that drive brand equity, customer lifetime value, and
competitive differentiation.
- Experience architecting and overseeing an annual brand calendar
that harmonizes product launches, cultural moments, and market
trends to drive sustained engagement and category leadership.
- Deep proficiency in integrating qualitative and quantitative
data insights to craft compelling narratives that guide brand
strategy, campaign optimization, and long-term market positioning.A
