possible P&L outcomes. Lyft's FP&A team is looking for a
Sr. FP&A Manager - Rideshare Variable Expense to join our
Rideshare team.The Rideshare team is dedicated to all aspects of
servicing rides through the Lyft platform. The ideal candidate will
possess strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills,
along with a team-oriented mindset and a solid work ethic. This
role will lead financial modeling and performance tracking for all
variable expenses, and develop strategic recommendations. It
presents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact at one

industry.Responsibilities:
- Partner with executive leaders in Insurance, Hosting, Payment,
and Customer Support business units to improve the efficiency of
all variable expenses.
- Build detailed bottoms-up models that yield insights and
support key decision-making.
- Develop and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual
financial planning process to provide executive leadership the
outlook.
- Own month- and quarter-end close and review processes with
executive leaders and business partners.
- Prepare executive-grade financial reporting, summarizing
findings and recommendations,
- Continuously improve operational efficiencies and build
scalable new processes from the ground up when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with all members of the Rideshare FP&A
team, demonstrating curiosity and proficiency in every aspect of
the end-to-end Rideshare P&L.
- Analyze business initiatives to drive strategic decisions and
hold stakeholders accountable.
- Lead and develop a team of analysts while fostering a positive
work environment.Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, or Economics. MBA or equivalent
advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in a high-tech environment with a track
record of all-in ownership and delivering impact. A background in
the Insurance industry is a plus.
- 4+ years of team management experience.
- Demonstrated experience in developing complex financial models;
excellent quantitative analysis and forecasting skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity and proven ability to make progress and
drive insights with incomplete information.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability
to communicate and influence effectively across various
departments.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of financial systems (Anaplan and Oracle) and
familiarity with SQL preferred.Benefits:

position in the San Francisco area is $164,000 - $205,000. Salary
ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including
qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not
inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Your
