This critical role ensures the accuracy of financial operations, adherence to internal controls, and the development of Finance modules in NetSuite. You will serve as a key leader within the Finance team, driving operational excellence and fostering collaboration with partners across various departments.Payscale: $130,000-$165,000 annuallyKey Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the global financial accounting team, fostering professional growth, and ensuring timely and accurate accounting operations.
  • Internal Controls: Develop, document, implement, and maintain internal controls over the Finance Function inclusive but not limited to controls surrounding Cash, Inventory Assets, and Fixed Assets.
  • Operational Accounting: Establish, document, and ensure adherence to all accounting policies and procedures as established by the corporation, with an understanding of a Company in the FMGC environment.
  • Technology and NetSuite Development: Embrace and deploy technological tools for improved efficiency and accuracy, with a focus on NetSuite.
  • Collaborate: Demonstrate collaboration and teamwork within the finance team and across all functional teams of the organization.
  • Month-End Close: Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Compliance: Communicate, enforce, and enhance internal control compliance within Purchase to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash, and Record to Reporting processes.Position RequirementsQualifications:
    • NetSuite experience is required.
    • Prior experience with a Retail Business within the accounting function.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead FP&A requirements.Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
      • Master's degree in Accounting/Business or a qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, or auditor).Experience:
        • 3+ years of accounting experience, including auditing at a Big-4 auditor firm with progression to manager level.
        • 4+ years of experience with NetSuite closing the year-end journal.
        • 7+ years of professional accounting experience in a corporate environment, with at least 4 years as a people manager.
        • Experience in a publicly listed company and/or IPO readiness preparation.
        • Prior technology startup experience.
        • Experience in designing, building, and implementing financial processes and systems.
        • Experience working in a global business environment.Skills:
          • Strong attention to detail and a hands-on mindset.
          • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of building, developing, and managing teams.
          • Expertise in internal controls required for U.S. accounting and financial reporting.Work Environment:
