The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.Job Description/Preferred Qualifications KLA is seeking a motivated individual with a growth mindset for an engineer position in a world-class algorithm group within the reticle product division (RAPID)

• The individual would develop algorithmic solutions for image modeling and processing from requirements gathering, concept formulation, prototyping, to productization.
• Identify technical bottlenecks. Balance sophistication and computational complexity through comprehensive data analysis.
• Engage directly with systems, optics, sensors & HPC teams to co-optimize algorithms along with other sub-systems for the best overall system design.
• Work with marketing and applications to meet projected industry needs. Minimum Qualifications
  • PhD or MS in EE, Computer Science, Applied Math or related field
  • a PhD degree, or a MS degree with minimum 3 years of relevant industry work experience
  • Significant experience in image processing, machine learning, or deep learning for imaging application
  • In-depth understanding in modeling of imaging systems (optical or electron beam)
  • Good knowledge of computational optics and high-performance computing
  • Experience in C++ production software development and object-oriented programming is needed.
