hiring an experienced Web3 QA Automation Engineer to join our
Engineering team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that our
products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and
user experience.About the role
- Applying world-class QA best practices to Codefi development
processes and technical stacks.
- Creation, maintenance, and execution of detailed automated test
cases.
- Management and oversight of multiple projects
simultaneously.
- Reviewing requirements to ensure they are thorough and
detailed, and providing knowledgeable feedback.
- Keeping thorough documentation of all project aspects,
including deployment communication, bug tickets, and both manual
and automated test cases.
- Active participation in project development meetings, including
backlog grooming and sprint planning.
- Ensuring that all major software releases meet our high quality
standards.
- Collaborating with the team to solve application faults,
identify and report bugs, and highlight quality issues.
- Development, execution, and maintenance of automation scripts,
test plans, and test cases.
- Continuously improving test strategies, frameworks, tools, and
technologies to maintain a high-quality bar.About you
- 3+ years experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
- A deep understanding of Agile Testing methodology and CI/CD
processes.
- Proficiency in languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript,
Node.js, GoLang, and Python.
- Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber,
Cypress, WebDriverIO, Truffle, and Ganache.
- Experience with load testing tools like K6 or Apache
JMeter.
- A solid understanding of decentralisation through blockchain,
consensus, and gossip protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS or Azure.
- 5+ years of test engineering experience on GUI products and 4+
years in test automation.
- Strong documentation practices and hands-on QA automation
engineering skills.
- Experience with containerised applications and
deployments.
- Ability to operate efficiently in a decentralised and remote
working environment.
- A collaborative nature, excellent communication skills, and a
strong alignment with our principles.
- Proficiency in Unix-based OSs, Docker, and SQL querying.
- Experience in Dapps, Ethereum tech, and Detox testing
framework.Nice to Have
- Experience or understanding of Ethereum and other blockchain
technologies.
- Familiarity with open-source development workflows, especially
GitHub.
- Experience in testing Qt/QML and desktop applications for
Windows, OSx, and Linux.
- Experience building and setting up QA and CI/CD tools that can
scale across multiple products with high standardisation.
- A keen interest in blockchain and a solid understanding of
Ethereum.
- Experience working in an open-source organisation.
- Previous experience with Parity's zombienet and substrate's
