We are seeking Platform Engineers who are passionate about developing highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support the Human Resource technology driving Capital One. You will champion automation of functional and technical processes and bring your expertise to drive innovative solutions.General Responsibilities:

• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
• Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business.
• Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards.
• Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
• Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities.
• Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation.
• Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective.
• Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues.Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
  • At least 4 years experience in platform engineering on HR platforms (Workday, Peoplesoft, or Successfactors).
  • At least 2 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • 5+ years of experience working with Workday Human Resources modules including Compensation.
    • 3+ years of experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday using Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Custom Reports or RaaS solutions.
    • 1+ years of experience with BIRT.
    • 3+ years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP.
    • Workday Integration Developer certifications.
    • 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure or another cloud service.
    • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location:
      • Cambridge, MA: $127,500 - $145,500
      • Chicago, IL: $115,900 - $132,200
      • McLean, VA: $127,500 - $145,500
      • Plano, TX: $115,900 - $132,200
      • Richmond, VA: $115,900 - $132,200
      • San Francisco, CA: $139,100 - $158,700
      • San Jose, CA: $139,100 - $158,700This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
