The Formats team, nested within our Commerce engineering org, is dedicated to creating new mechanisms for buyers and sellers to transact, aiming to add value to the business and create fun, social experiences (features like seller drops, a best-in-class trading card 'breaks' feature, group buys, and more). They work across the full technology stack and collaborate closely with other teams on their projects to solve a wide variety of interesting problems.Team members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, or New York City hub.As our next iOS engineer on Formats, you should have 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience in high growth startups, plus:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• iOS expertise in creating fluid, responsive user interfaces, working knowledge of Swift 6 language features, and experience with reactive and declarative paradigms.
• Product Instinct: Excel at translating user needs to effective technical solutions.
• Problem Solving: Thrive in ambiguity and tackle challenging problems with creativity and autonomy.
• Team Leadership: Proactively improve the team environment and foster inclusive, supportive team culture.
• Ownership Mindset: Own projects holistically from inception to production and beyond. You are known for shipping high-quality products and features lightning-fast.For US-based applicants: $185,000/year to $245,000/year + benefits + equity. The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including level, relevant prior experience, skills, and expertise.
