This role is vital to our team and involves reporting directly to the Technology Center San Francisco Manager. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with R&D Engineers across North America to facilitate and coordinate a variety of projects within the Additive Shop, supporting groundbreaking research and product development efforts.Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate projects in the Additive Shop, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines.
  • Provide advanced technical support and knowledge in additive manufacturing processes, technologies, and best practices (Large-Format Printing SME, Additive Robotics SME).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive interdisciplinary projects. Contribute to Research Outcomes and Digital Twin development at the Technology Centers.
  • Participate in research initiatives to explore new materials, methods, and technologies that enhance additive manufacturing capabilities. Conduct new material and equipment research to ensure we are doing cutting-edge work at our facility.
  • Conduct machine training courses for Autodesk Researchers and Residents, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • Drive creative problem-solving and innovative thinking to address challenges and improve processes within the Additive Shop.
  • Machine Maintenance, Consumables Ordering, and Additive Shop Organization.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • Proven experience in additive manufacturing, including knowledge of various 3D printing technologies and materials.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
