As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Coco, you will be responsible
for designing and developing the electrical systems that power our
robotic delivery vehicles. You will own projects from system
architecture and schematic capture to component selection, board
design, testing, bring-up, and debugging. Collaborating closely
with mechanical engineers, software engineers, product managers,
and other cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our robots
are equipped with reliable and efficient electrical systems that
meet our high standards for performance and scalability. Your
expertise will directly contribute to enhancing the functionality
and reliability of our robot fleets, driving Coco's mission
forward.Note: This is an in-office role. Coco is an office-first,
highly collaborative and cross-functional company. We are looking

environment.About the Team
As a member of our Electrical Engineering team, you'll join a group
of innovative and passionate engineers dedicated to building the
core electrical systems of our delivery robots. Our
responsibilities include:
- System Architecture: Designing the overall electrical architecture for our robots, ensuring seamless integration of motor drives, cameras, sensors, high-speed compute units, RF modules, and power electronics.
- Schematic Capture & Component Selection: Creating detailed schematics and selecting appropriate components to meet performance, cost, and reliability requirements.
- PCB Design: Developing printed circuit board layouts that optimize factors including signal integrity, power distribution, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.
- Testing & Debugging: Leading the testing, bring-up, and debugging of electrical systems to ensure functionality and reliability in real-world operating conditions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to integrate electrical systems with other robot subsystems, ensuring cohesive and efficient product development.
- Continuous Improvement: Implementing best practices and
innovative solutions to improve the efficiency, scalability, and
reliability of our electrical systems.Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field of study, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, developing consumer, industrial, automotive, or robotics products
- Proficiency in schematic capture and layout using
industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence,
Eagle)Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience with high-speed computing systems and embedded firmware integration
- Familiarity with wireless communication protocols and RF design
- Experience with designing for manufacturability and reliability in high-volume production
- Proven ability to lead testing, bring-up, and debugging of complex electrical systems
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects from concept through
production, balancing technical rigor with cost and schedule
