OverviewApplied Technology Services (ATS) is a multidisciplinary
team of 100 engineers, scientists, and technicians. ATS has been
providing technology based innovative, high-value services to the
company for 35 years. The Chemistry ServicesUnit provides a range
of laboratory testing services in support of Power Generation
(Hydro, Fossil, and Nuclear), Electrical Transmission and
Distribution, and Gas Transmission and Distribution activities.
Position SummaryThis position is represented by Engineers and
Scientists of California (ESC) subject to collective
bargaining.This is the entry-level position for engineering
technical work. Work performed at this level will be assigned as
required to prepare the employee for advancement to Engineering
Technician II.PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the
company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at
the timeofthe job posting. This compensation range is specific to
the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to
anindividualwill be based on multiple factors, including, but not
limited to, specific skills, education, licenses
orcertifications,experience, market value, geographic location,
collective bargaining agreement, and internalequity.Under the terms
of the collective bargaining agreement, the hourly rate range for
this position is $43.58 to $56.94,subject to collectively bargained
