Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

This role will be accountable for providing economic recommendations, data analysis, expense management, and financial planning help of the R&D pipeline for the Single-Port (SP) business unit.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage and develop a team of financial analysts helping the SP business; including design engineering, process engineering, product management, and the US SP commercial organization
  • Accountable for tracking, examining and reporting financials for the teams within the SP business unit and US commercial organization
  • Partner with the US SP Commercial & US Sales Ops teams to develop sales strategy, targeting lists, business cases, and overall data-backed help
  • Consolidate and report BU financials as part of month-end, forecast, and budget cycles
  • Create economic valuation and comparison models to help key business decisions
  • Plan and maintain long range business cases for newly launched development projects
  • Design & deliver insightful dashboards to influence key business decisions and strategies
  • Proactively identify and execute continual process improvements by leveraging best practices, standardization, and automation to scale the business
  • Ensure monthly financial results are stated accurately and in accordance with GAAP.
  • Help quarterly expense forecasts, annual budget planning, and month-end close Qualifications

    Required Skills and Experience
    • Minimum 4+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience involving budgeting, forecasting, examination, and project management
    • Proven project management skills to effectively run timely and accurate financial processes
    • Exceptional leadership, relational, and communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflict, drive consensus, and reach conclusions
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including experience building financial models involving complex formulas and large data sets
    • Intellectually curious and self-motivated
    • Exceptional relational and communication skills
    • Fast, high quality execution of quantitative work with attention to detail
    • Proven track record of good team synergy
    • This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week Required Education and Training
      • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics related discipline Working Conditions
        • None Preferred Skills and Experience
          • Experience with systems such as SAP (ERP), Hyperion, Anaplan and Tableau is preferred
