Sr Service Manager - Vehicle Delivery Center - East Bay (Benicia)Category: Technical ServicesNumber of Openings: 1Location: RichmondFull-Time/Part-Time: Full-TimeExempt/Non-Exempt: ExemptJOB SUMMARY:The Vehicle Delivery Center Sr Manager is responsible for the coordination of joint operations with the VDC and other stakeholders, e.g., port operator, sales operations, logistics and repair partners.RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

• Develop a knowledge of all VinFast US products, as well as Service systems, processes, and procedures.
• Lead the VDC's daily operations to achieve specific goals in productivity, quality, output, and cost.
• Execute on deliverables, milestone reports, open action items, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Manage overall service and maintenance contracts on installed equipment at the VDC.
• Support developing service budget (tooling & equipment).
• Track, measure and report upon all data and analytics to teams' performance and aftersales support.
• Identify, build, and coach a strong team of Technicians, Service Advisors, and Parts Advisors.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, including business case analysis, financials, and detailed implementation plans with milestones, and post-project review.
• Suggest improvements to efficiency, quality, and overall excellence in process and actions.
• Prepare, monitor and report daily operational KPI's.
  • Operations: Review and track performance of port operations partner, VDC technical staff throughput, inbound/outbound vehicle processing rate. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documents in support of VDC Operations and report status daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly.
  • Data: Track daily work completion, status of work, incoming vehicle inspection, outgoing vehicles readiness for sales.
  • Quality: Conduct audits of providers to ensure compliance with VinFast US quality policies, goals, and objectives.
  • Billing: Monitor vendor billing including sublet services, 3rd party collision repairs, temporary manpower providers.Position Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
    • 8+ years of hands-on experience in OEM and/or Electric Vehicle environment including parts planning, customer service, warranty, product support, and research.
    • Strong and proven experience leading field, technical repair, or manufacturing teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment with strong customer-facing responsibilities.
    • Experience building standard operating procedures (SOP).
    • Experience running complex processes using Lean or other techniques.
    • Technical acumen, particularly related to electric vehicles.
    • Work well in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
    • Exceptional prioritization and time management skills are essential for success.
    • Be strategic and proactive, and possess a problem-solving mindset.
    • Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.VinFast Auto is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation.
