The RoleAs an Operations Manager at Layer, you'll help us scale our business to meet the rapidly growing demand of our customers. You'll own our automated bookkeeping service that already serves hundreds of SMBs today and help us scale it to tens of thousands.What you do will vary from week to week, but key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the bookkeeping service that we provide on top of our embedded accounting software
  • Support SMB end-users as they onboard to our bookkeeping for the first time
  • Track and evaluate our deployment of AI to automate our bookkeeping workflowsWe're a small team and this is our second non-technical hire. You'll have the opportunity to learn a ton and take on as much responsibility as you can handle.Skills & experienceThis role will suit strong generalists with a growth mindset.
