proactive and results-driven Revenue Accounting Manager. In this
critical and highly visible role, you will serve as a technical
revenue accounting expert and strategic advisor to key
stakeholders, overseeing complex revenue transactions while
providing thoughtful leadership across the organization. This role
will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure new product
and initiative launches drive accurate financial reporting in a
high-growth, fast-paced environment. You will help drive process
improvements, establish best practices, and support the company's
continued growth and transformation. This role will begin as an
individual contributor.Responsibilities:
- Join a dynamic and highly collaborative accounting organization
and play a critical role in overseeing revenue accounting
considerations for new products and initiatives.
- Partner with Engineering and Product Management teams to design
and implement scalable revenue recognition processes for new
product launches, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
(e.g., ASC 606).
- Identify opportunities to enhance opportunities to automate
existing revenue processes and enhance system capabilities.
- Prepare internal summary documentation for new products and
initiatives, summarizing key stakeholders, findings, and accounting
impacts.
- Own the revenue accounting review of contracts with customers,
partner with technical accounting team to ensure proper
documentation under ASC 606 and that any nonstandard findings are
properly documented and accounted for.
- Assist with revenue technology transformation initiatives and
process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Regularly partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely
and accurate reporting.
- Provide workpapers, ad-hoc analysis, and inputs to the FP&A
process. Address revenue-related inquiries from other departments
and assist external auditors during audits.
- Ensure compliance with revenue accounting policies, procedures
and SOX controls. Assess and enhance SOX compliance processes
related to revenue accounting.
- Train internal stakeholders on revenue recognition principles,
best practices, and policy updates.
- Lead or participate in special projects and process
improvements related to revenue recognition.Experience:
- BS in Accounting/Finance, CPA license preferred
- 5+ years in Accounting including revenue recognition, including
Big 4 experience
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and
accounting standards (ASC 606)
- Deep expertise in US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, SOX, and
internal controls
- Experience working with engineering, data, and other technical
teams preferred
- Experience working with large data sets with SQL and Mode
Reporting preferred
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication
skills
- Strong accounting research and problem-solving skills with a
focus on revenue recognition
- Highly detail-oriented and able to multitask
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the
ability to review and analyze revenue contracts and transactions
for accuracy
- Must have significant experience in Microsoft and Google
applications; Oracle is strongly preferred
- Able to operate independently and as part of a larger
functional team
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships, deadline

#HybridThe expected base pay range for this position in the San
Francisco area is $108,000 - $135,000. Salary ranges are dependent
on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and
geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity
offering, bonus or benefits.
