Job Title: Director of FinanceInternal Job ID: 10036061Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid 3 days onsite)Salary: $190k - $225k cash compensationSan Francisco based social justice philanthropic advisory startup seeks a Director of Finance to own both finance and accounting, and build out the budgeting, forecasting and planning function to scale with the development of the firm. The primary focus will be on the finance side with oversight of the outsourced accounting function, and partner with the senior business leaders on their budgets throughout the year and on year-end results. This is a newly created role that will report into the Managing Director over Finance, Operations & People, and work onsite 3 days a week in San Francisco. This role will be an individual contributor hands on role in the beginning, with regular exposure to senior management and the executive team. Systems included QuickBooks Online, Adaptive Insights, Bill, Intacct, and Expensify.Requirements:

• 10+ years finance and accounting experience in a growth company with experience building out the finance function and systems of a scaling firm.
• Experience with both budgeting, forecasting and planning, as well as accounting, is required.
• Adaptive Planning is highly preferred or advanced experience with another similar automated planning tool is required. Looking for a planning tool super user who can shepherd and mentor/train senior staff and executives on Adaptive Planning.
• Experience working with outsourced providers of accounting and/or other services is a plus.
• Advanced Excel user with the ability to produce dynamic financial models.
• Expert knowledge of financial statement analysis and finance concepts.
• Experience assessing, implementing, and managing financial systems and policies.
