Job Summary:The Privacy team is responsible for operating a
world-class privacy program and building a world-class privacy user
experience for the community. Beyond maintaining compliance with
global privacy laws, we strive to create user trust & differentiate
the brand with our privacy posture and practices.About You:
- Experienced product manager with 3-5 years of experience
building and shipping products/features preferably in the
data/compliance/privacy space.
- Highly energetic, self-motivated, proactive, with creative and
critical thinking capabilities.
- Possesses a deep respect and passion for protecting people's
data privacy.
- Has a sense of urgency for and commitment to the client's
mission of belonging.
- Hyper-focused on stakeholder management and building strong
relationships.
- Ability to perform under pressure to hit deadlines in an
ambiguous & chaotic environment.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to manage
audiences.
- Enjoys using data and analysis to identify and activate product
opportunities/wins.
- Organized and motivated, with a bias for action and
impact.
- Ability to work independently with limited guidance to help
create structures and develop operational concepts.We are looking
for people who have 3-5 years of prior Product management
experience - Shipping features (from 0-1).Excellent communicator -
written, verbal, presentations (familiarity with Google slides and
Keynote is a huge plus).The ability to influence a diverse set of
XFN stakeholders through data, product insight, and great
relationships and rapport.Knowledge & Tools:
- SQL, Superset, Tableau.
- G-Suite - Google docs, slides, calendar, Gmail, Slack for
primary work communications.Skills:
- Zoom for meetings (remote environment).
- JIRA and Asana for product backlog management.
- Knowledge and experience implementing privacy principles in
complex technology ecosystems, especially Data subject rights.
- Automation.
- Some knowledge of EU and US data privacy legislations, industry
practices, and how they impact business operations and product
design, could identify the potential impact/risk to business
according to external regulations change.Bonus Points:
- Experience within the Diversity and Inclusion space.
- 4+ years of program or project management experience.
- 4+ years experience in privacy, compliance, security operations
and program management, preferably in a global B2C technology
company.
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified
Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), or equivalent professional
certification is not required, but preferred.
- MA/MS Masters degree or equivalent.Location: San Francisco,
