Transdev Services, Inc. - Job DescriptionPosition: Manager of AdministrationPosition Type: ExemptThe Manager of Administration supports the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with very specific duties and contract deliverables including but not limited to financial tracking and reporting, invoice preparation and all local, state and federal reporting such as NTD reporting, EEO reporting and other required reporting. This position is based in San Francisco, CA and is responsible for supporting the brokerage office of the SFMTA's Paratransit program.Transdev is proud to offer:

  • Competitive compensation package with a salary that ranges from a minimum of $71,000 to a maximum of $88,000 DOQBenefits include:
    • Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
    • Sick days: 5 days
    • Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating
    • Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.Benefits may vary depending on location policy. The above represents the standard Corporate Policy.General Key Responsibilities:
      • Directs aspects of daily brokerage & operations management specific to financial and other metrics.
      • Provides guidance on strategic planning and direction to the staff.
      • Manages some level of contract compliance particularly aspects related to billing, accounting and data collection/retention.
      • Has shared responsibility for scheduling, performance evaluation, and staffing responsibilities for the facility's management staff.
      • Other duties as required.
      • Travel requirement outside of immediate area 10 percent.Qualifications:
        • High School Diploma or GED required.
        • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred.
        • At least 3 years of responsible and high-level performance in reporting, contract monitoring, contract compliance and related work in the passenger transportation industry is required.
        • Knowledge of relevant federal and state employment laws.
        • Thorough knowledge of laws, ordinances and regulations underlying the transit operation.
        • Thorough knowledge of the methods of operation of the transit system's staff and operational departments.
        • Ability to deal with state and local government.
        • Ability to manage cost control and financial/budget experience handling multiple locations.
        • Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs.
        • Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent presentation skills; ability to influence people at all levels of the organization.
        • Ability to organize and perform work efficiently, strong attention to details.
        • Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.Physical Requirements:
          • Must be able to handle a sometimes-flexible work schedule that is deadline driven.
          • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
