Enterprise Generative AI Platform team is at the forefront of
Capital One's journey into Artificial Intelligence.The AI
Foundation Model (FM) Gateway provides secure, frictionless access
to Generative AI Foundation models hosted internally and externally
to our network. This service empowers Capital One developers to
rapidly & safely bring applications to market and deliver
next-generation customer experiences. All Generative AI inference
traffic at the company will pass through the FM Gateway (including:
experimentation, prototyping, development, and serving). The FM
Gateway serves two primary functions:
- Support frictionless access to internally & externally hosted
Gen AI Foundation Models
- Ensure risk & regulatory requirements are met and that access
to FM's is well managedAs a Product Manager on the Enterprise
Generative AI Platform product team, you will be the voice of the
customer, identifying opportunities to create frictionless,
resilient, and scalable solutions for the enterprise. You'll
collaborate with a cross-functional team to define requirements and
deliver high value solutions to the enterprise.The ideal candidate
for this role is passionate about AI technology and deeply
empathizes with customer needs. They are comfortable in
conversation with stakeholders ranging from technical customers to
senior leadership.Key Responsibilities:
- Customer's Spokesperson:
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and
fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve customer
experience and drive Product growth by aligning it to Capital One's
mission.
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer
impact.
- Business Focused:
- Demonstrate a growth mindset - effectively use
hypothesis-driven assessment of data to ensure your product or
feature delivers on real business needs.
- Support in prioritizing feature development roadmaps, ensuring
all necessary processes and procedures are followed to manage
risk.
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with
key external partners.
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and
understanding.
- Human Centered:
- Breakdown business needs into features and further into user
stories, driving your team towards lowest effort or Minimal Viable
Product (MVP) for a valid feature test.
- Collaborate with tech teams to build comprehensive acceptance
criteria, identifying and elevating any need for additional
research to define future feature design.
- Technology Driven:
- Work autonomously in an agile environment, to conduct research
and develop features that utilize new and evolving technology.
- Collaborate with designers, technologists, data scientists and
subject-matter experts to build cutting edge solutions to help
customers.
- Transformational Teamwork:
- Actively participate in horizontal forums to harness a network
of trusted relationships among tech teams, designers, key internal
stakeholders and partner teams.
- Articulate a succinct product roadmap to deliver business value
and share with stakeholders, elevating your team's results and
becoming a product matter expert.Specific responsibilities include,
but are not limited to:
- Develop and communicate the product vision for Foundation Model
Gateway.
- Prioritize the product backlog to maximize business and
customer outcomes.
- Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product
design.
- Maintain a healthy backlog of work and play a critical role in
many agile ceremonies.
- Serve as the connection between customers, Capital One's
mission, and your team.We want you if you are:

and lead.Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in product management or at
least 3 years of experience in product design, agile delivery,
business analysis, data science, or software engineering.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, MBA or
Master's degree.
- 3+ years of experience in Agile product management.
- Prior experience with API or AI Gateway services.
- Experience developing AI powered software.
- Knowledge of Generative AI concept is a plus.At this time,

annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please
note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to
perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the
amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed
upon number of hours to be regularly worked.Richmond, Virginia:
$144,000 - $164,000 for Manager, Product ManagementChicago,
Illinois: $144,000 - $164,000 for Manager, Product
ManagementMcLean, Virginia: $158,400 - $180,800 for Manager,
Product ManagementNew York City, New York: $172,800 - $197,200 for
Manager, Product ManagementSan Francisco, California: $172,800 -
