grow and succeed together!Job Summary:The Campus Manager (CM) is
responsible for the retention of students and operations at a
single assigned campus location. The CM supports the success of
students at the assigned campus by monitoring their performance in
order to provide intervention if/as needed. Reporting to the VP of
Student Experience, the CM represents the university to current
students and campus partners, proactively seeks out all manner of
solutions and opportunities to support student success from program
start to graduation.RequirementsDuties include:
- Advising a caseload of up to 300 students on the path toward
success in their programs and connecting them to university
resources (such as the Academic Resource Center and the Writing
Center)
- Advising students on the policies and procedures of the
university and any other relevant parties
- Monitoring student performance in collaboration with faculty
and intervening as needed to address student or faculty
concerns
- Supervise additional Student Success Advisors once student
population exceeds 300
- Coordinating class meeting schedules in collaboration with
campus partners
- Maintaining positive relationships with campus partners and
proactively problem-solving any issues with appropriate
departments
- Developing and implementing initiatives to support student
success
- Execute the planning of student events in coordination with
Student Life
- Having presence at the campus on all professional weekends and
class meeting times
- Ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met for the
location
- Other duties as assignedRequirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, or a related field;
Master's degree preferred
- At least three years working with students in higher
education
- Experience in developing partnerships with outside
organizations
- Effective communication and organization skills
- Commitment to student success
- International education experience and knowledge strongly
preferred
- California State regulations for Higher Education experience
and knowledge strongly preferredEducation:
- Master's (Preferred)Weekend work sometimes required.
