Role OverviewAs Relyance AI's Senior Technical Product Manager -
AI Governance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future
of our AI governance product bundle. This role demands an
understanding of modern Generative AI technologies. You will work
closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering,
Customer Success, Sales, and Legal, to deliver high-quality,
impactful products that help our customers protect their data and
ensure compliance.As a Technical Product Manager, your role will
include:
- Deeply understanding customer workflows, pain points, and
objectives. This involves conducting in-depth market research,
customer interviews, and competitive analyses to identify
opportunities for product differentiation and innovation in AI
governance and regulatory compliance.
- Crafting exceptional product requirements (written and visual)
that focus on governance needs. This includes defining user
stories, acceptance criteria, and managing product roadmaps and
OKRs aligned with the overall AI governance strategy, ensuring
features meet both business and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarizing yourself with customer workflows, pain points,
and objectives by using your curiosity. This means approaching
product management from an end user's vantage point, especially
when it comes to understanding AI's role in compliance and privacy
workflows.
- Managing the entire product development lifecycle for your
products to ensure the right features are prioritized, built,
shipped, marketed, and adopted.
- Interfacing and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to
communicate the vision, end goal, and help ship products to market:
- Engineering teams to drive feature development.
- GTM teams to ensure successful market adoption of new
features.
- Executives to align on product strategy and communicate updates
and risks.
- Customers to understand their challenges, pain points, and help
drive the adoption.
- Crafting and measuring quantitative metrics and KPIs to
determine the delivered value, product usage, and customer
satisfaction.
- Conduct post-mortem reviews and help audit existing processes
to assess project and process efficacy.You will get the opportunity
to:
- Bring products from 0 to 1. These products will help Relyance
AI customers to better protect data and respect the fundamental
right to data privacy.
- Talk to a wide range of customers, prospects & internal
stakeholders to identify trends, strategic opportunities, and
influence the Relyance AI product strategy.
- Question and improve the current state. This role will require
a "whatever it takes" approach to ideate, translate, and ship
products that will benefit the customer and the company.This role
could be a fit for you if you bring:
- 5+ years of product management or product development
experience in building and shipping products to market.
- 3+ years of experience working on AI and machine learning
products, ideally focused on AI-powered compliance and privacy
regulation.
- Experience with the PM tech stack (e.g., Jira, Figma,
Productboard, Aha!, Amplitude, Pendo, etc.).
- Experience using quantitative (e.g., metrics, analytics) and
qualitative data (e.g., research, user feedback) to inform product
prioritization and decision-making.
- SaaS experience, technical fluency, and an ability to
understand modern software systems (microservices, APIs,
client-server architecture, etc.), especially those in AI and data
privacy, to help drive strategic and technical discussions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for
articulating product requirements, customer challenges, and GTM
messaging. This role will require the ability to effectively convey
complex product ideas and strategies to a range of stakeholders,
including executives, engineering, GTM, and end-users.
- Experience in product operations to set up or tweak existing
processes for maximum efficiency.
- Ability to wear many hats and pivot based on company
needs.
- Excitement and curiosity about taking on new and varied
responsibilities in a fast-growing, dynamic organization.Bonus

- Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, Go, or

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. We
use data-driven pay practices with the goal of ensuring offerings
are competitive to the market and our team members are being
compensated correctly based on their roles, experience, and
location. As such, the base salary pay range for this role is
$150,000 to $175,000.
