Volt is immediately hiring for Product Manager in Pleasanton,
CA.
As a Product Manager, you will:
This specific position focuses on the Partnership platform working
in the Loyalty team. The Client partners with different companies
to provide benefits to our customers beyond the grocery ecosystem.
The Product Manager is responsible for helping to develop this
platform as well as working closely with partners in launching key
partnership benefits to our customers.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Champion the needs of customers, Partners, business teams,
stakeholders throughout the development process, ensuring that what
is delivered meets the original goals and objectives of the
project.
Coordinate with engineering teams to assess scope and technical
solution.
Create and manage a product backlog of user stories for UX/Design
and Engineering to execute projects
Work with User Experience & Design teams to create mock-ups and
finalized designs for your concepts.
Write user stories as a part of the product development lifecycle
that:Directly support primary objectives of the project.
Are appropriate in size for iterative development.
Include clear and specific acceptance criteria.
Consider dependencies on other stories and/or projects &
initiatives.
Use analytics to determine future opportunities and generate
learnings.
Research competitors, best practices and gather industry knowledge
to help the Digital Loyalty team with other experiences and
products.
Collaborate with external partners in identifying requirements
which is in line with the contract keeping both client and partner
constraints in mind.
Support Partnership operation activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in business with a focus on information
technology or product management
looking for candidates that have retail/ecommerce experience.
7-9 years of experience as a Product Manager within an Agile
environment
Previous e-commerce experience strongly preferred, web or mobile
apps.
Experience within grocery industry preferred but not required.
Have worked in an agile development environment, with teams
consisting of product, program management, engineering and
UX/design.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and have
experience presenting concepts/ideas to senior management for
feedback and approval.
Experience with A/B testing and web experimentation
Have experience defining a product from scratch and communicating
requirements directly with engineering teams
Ability to operate in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity.
Experience working with JIRA/Confluence, Figma or equivalent
product/design software
Experience with rewards points, API's, working with complex systems
and dependent teams is a big plus.
Pay Rate: $60 - 70 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
