We are headquartered in San Francisco, California.Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and architectures.
• Implement and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across multiple data sources and platforms.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to define and fulfill data requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data workflows for performance and efficiency.
• Establish and document best practices for data processes, architecture, and workflow procedures.
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of technical growth and collaboration.Required Skills
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
  • 2+ years Technical leadership and People management
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and time-series databases.
  • Hands-on experience with data pipeline and event streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Airflow, Spark, Kafka, Flink).
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks.
  • Experience with AWS
  • Knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling, governance, compliance and data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks for data workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skillsBonus Skills
    • Experience with real-time data processing frameworks.
    • Familiarity with IoT and embedded systems data
    • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
    • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting systems for real-time data analysis.
