a highly experienced and motivated Senior Director of Medical
Communications to join our Medical Affairs Leadership Team. The
successful candidate will lead the development and execution of our
publication strategy, ensuring the creation and dissemination of
high-quality scientific and clinical data to support our products
and research initiatives.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive publication strategy
aligned with the company's scientific and business objectives.
- Oversee the planning, writing, and submission of scientific
manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations for
peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinical
Development and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure accurate and timely
dissemination of scientific information.
- Develop relationships with external authors and other key
opinion leaders to foster strategic, peer-to-peer collaboration for
publications.
- Manage publications vendor(s) with a key focus on developing
quality work product in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, guidelines, and
ethical practices in all publication activities.
- Monitor and analyze publication trends and competitive
intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the publications team,
fostering a culture of excellence and continuous
improvement.Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent) in a relevant
scientific discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in medical writing and
publications within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
Dermatology and/or rheumatology experience preferred.
- Proven track record of successful publication planning and
execution.
- Strong understanding of GPP (Good Publication Practice)
guidelines and other relevant industry standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented
environment.
- Strategic mindset with strong organizational and project
management skills.The salary range for this position is $250,000
USD to $280,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and
the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation
practices.Alumis Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.This

expected to be onsite Tuesday-Thursday. At this time we are not
considering remote applicants.Alumis compensation packages include
