The Clinical Laboratory Scientist CLS Supervisor will oversee an amazing team of tenured, hardworking clinical lab scientists and lab technicians. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist CLS Supervisor will report to the BMT Assistant Nurse Manager and will lead a terrific team. Supported directly by multiple clinical lab scientists, lab technicians, and Oncology/Hematology department and Transplant division, the Lab Supervisor will play a vital role in leading clinical operations for this Cell Therapy processing lab department. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist CLS Supervisor will be an expert on Stem Cells, BMT/Cell Therapies, Cellular Therapy Products, and support cellular therapy processes across the BMT and immune effector cell service line development. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist CLS Supervisor will work alongside the Malignant Hematology Cell Therapy and Transplant Clinical Leadership and Quality Teams, evaluating the wide variety of cellular therapy services requests, and is responsible for lab readiness in addition to overseeing the regulatory and quality outcomes for all cell collection and processing procedures in various patient populations.
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist CLS Supervisor will work to ensure that their team is up to date on their clinical competencies and will actively engage in clinical quality improvement tasks, including handling many accreditations and audits.
