Description Supervisor Nursing located at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. Shift available is Full Time, Days. Under the general direction of the Department Manager or Director, the Nursing Supervisor plans, directs and coordinates available resources to efficiently and effectively provide professional patient care and services to a quality consistent with nursing and SJH standards and at a cost compatible with the fiscal and other resources of SJH. In collaboration with unit manager or director, the Nursing Supervisor oversees operation (shift/unit) of the patient care units with accountability for leadership, staffing, and planning. Also must be competent to perform all aspects of the Lead Nurse's role in order to effectively lead and support the teams within the division. Functions as a health team leader and member through independent, interdependent and dependent roles within the health care system. Must have a professional commitment to growth, be creative and innovative, and demonstrate competency in interpersonal communication, leadership ability, and problem-solving skills. • Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; must obtain within 5 years of entering this position.
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 2 years Lead nurse or demonstrated progressive leadership experience. Preferred Qualifications:
