If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Cloud Pak for Data team is currently looking for a Technical Support Professional to help diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex product and configuration issues to ensure our customer--s success in using our product. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and perform remote debugging via MSTeams is essential to success in this role. The ideal candidate is a fast learner and self-starter, with a good balance of technical and problem solving skills, combined with a strong desire to help our customers achieve their goals and exceed their project deadlines.Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseBachelor--s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fieldExperience as DBA/Backend developer with strong knowledge of SQL engine, federation and query optimization.Experience working with Linux/Unix systemsExperience with docker and running dockerized applicationsKnowledge of Red Hat OpenShift technologyStrong communication and customer relationship management skillsAbility to work in a dynamic fast pasted environment and continuously learnParticipate in weekend/holiday on-call rotationPreferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseKnowledge of microservice--s architecture and container orchestrationKnowledge of Big Data and Hadoop ecosystemStorage Skills (NFS,ODF,OCS)Cloud Computing Experience with AWS, Azure or IBM CloudDatabase Skills (EDB, DB2, Oracle, MySQL)About Business UnitIBM Software infuses core business operations with intelligence-from machine learning to generative AI-to help make organizations more responsive, productive, and resilient.
