US Citizens and Green Card Holders Only!STAR Development team is looking for an experienced cloud engineer who will be working on the design and development of a suite of web applications. The individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting Java-based components and interfaces. The position requires a broad understanding of various coding methodologies, testing practices, and tools, and accordingly apply each method to achieve the desired outcomes.Job Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality technology solutions that use cloud technology to address STAR business needs.
• Proven experience in designing and building cloud-native Java-based applications.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms. Experience working with RESTful Web Services, XML, and JSON.
• Object-Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Profound insight into Java and JEE internals.
• At least 5 years of AWS cloud experience.
• Proficient in AWS services such as S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, and SQS.
• Experience in developing and deploying serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Proven experience in JavaScript, NodeJS, Python, and NoSQL DB preferably DynamoDB.
• Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform scripts.
• Assist with setting up CI/CD pipeline, release management using GitLab code repository and GitLab CI.
• Certification (optional, but preferred) - AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.Pay Range: $100.00 - $105.00
