Title: Founding Full-Stack Software EngineerReporting Structure: This role reports to the CTOCompany DescriptionMirage Security is building the world's first AI Social Engineer. Their mission is to protect every person in the world from social engineering through Human Security.Mirage was founded in September 2023, in response to the alarming rise in voice-based phishing attacks, enabled in part by increasingly realistic speech generation software, advanced chatbots, and other AI technologies. With security teams already struggling against a high volume of social engineering attacks, these new technological threats further tip the scales in favor of malicious actors. They are here to tip them back.Role OverviewAs a Software Engineer you will work across all parts of their stack: web, backend, AI, and cloud infrastructure. They're looking for a full-stack generalist who is customer-focused, product-minded, and excited to solve any problem that comes their way. This is an exciting opportunity to create a lasting impact on not only the product and technology but also the culture and future of the company.They are building in person as much as possible in San Francisco. As a founding team member, expect to tackle a diverse set of problems and operate as an owner. You will be a critical driver of product development and technical direction, collaborating directly with customers:Responsibilities

• Build full-stack products and features from the ground up
• Work with multimodal AI models across voice, text, and more
• Help shape our technical direction: how we build, ship, and scale
• Drive projects end-to-end balancing time, budget, and qualityQualifications:
• Self-starter with 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, preferably at startups
• Capable of taking highly ambiguous problems and shipping solutions iteratively
• Outcomes-oriented and product-minded builder who's excited to work across our stack
• Relentless executor capable of moving fast without breaking things
• Thoughtful collaborator and candid communicator
• Excited about cyber security, social engineering, or AI
• You might particularly enjoy this role if you have enjoyed building at a hackathon, found vulnerabilities in something you probably shouldn't talk about, or participated in a bug bounty programThey build mostly in TypeScript. More specifics:
