Position: Support Developer (Full Time Contract-to-Hire)Reports

As a Support Developer at GxSpeed, you will be a key player in
ensuring the smooth operation of our products and services. You
will work closely with the CPO and our development team to address
technical challenges, provide support for ongoing projects, and
assist in maintaining and improving our software solutions. This is
an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for development

Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide day-to-day support for internal
teams and external clients, assisting with troubleshooting, bug
fixes, and optimizing existing systems.
- Bug Resolution: Work with the development team to identify,
troubleshoot, and resolve issues across various software
platforms.
- Code Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and improving the
codebase, including reviewing and refactoring code to ensure
optimal performance and scalability.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the CPO, product managers, and
other developers to identify solutions and improve product
offerings.
- Documentation: Document and maintain clear records of support
cases, software bugs, and development changes to ensure knowledge
sharing across the team.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct basic testing and provide
feedback to development teams on software functionality and
performance.
- User Support & Training: Assist with the creation of user
support materials, and provide training or guidance to internal
users as needed.
- Performance Monitoring: Help monitor the performance of
deployed applications, ensuring they meet operational requirements
and KPIs.Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2-3 years of experience in a support or development role
(preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment).
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs) and
basic databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
and DevOps tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of debugging, troubleshooting, and
optimization techniques.
- Basic knowledge of version control tools (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under
pressure.
- Excellent communication skills-ability to convey technical
information to non-technical team members.
- Highly collaborative with a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for continuous
learning.
- Experience in the life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical
industry preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and exposure to
modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
- Knowledge of software testing frameworks and methodologies.What
