Job Description:
On3 is an AI-powered mobile training app for frontline teams. It
allows teams to capture, create, and share real-world knowledge
instantly from the job site. The platform uses built-in video
recording and AI-driven learning to transform captures into
real-time, on-the-job training. Companies are using On3 to reduce
costly mistakes, accelerate onboarding, and elevate productivity
and efficiency. On3 Create is the DIY partner app for On3 Learn and
allows users to capture moments and transform them into learning
content. On3 provides an expert-driven content library and
state-of-the-art video production to accelerate onboarding, enhance
skill acquisition, and solidify retention. It offers custom content
solutions for manufacturers and other industries. Job Title: Senior
Software Engineer Experience Requirements:
- At least 7 years of professional experience as a programmer
within the games industry.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, leveraging
Object-Oriented Programming fundamentals, Test Driven Development,
and Design principles Distributed Architectures.
- Proven experience in ground-up software design and
architecture.
- Expertise in event-driven design, microservices, and AI
technologies.
- Hands-on experience of AWS and/or Azure Cloud services.
- Track record of anticipating technical problems that will fall
out of major projects and designing solutions to overcome those
problems.
- You have at least 5+ years of experience as a full stack
engineer, and are confident driving architectural decisions on both
frontend and backend while being proficient in SQL for query and
data analysis. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with quest and cinematic designers to understand
their needs and ensure the tools meet the creative and technical
goals.
- Build and maintain story related plugins.
- Ensure tools run efficiently without sacrificing performance,
maintaining smooth workflows for the design team.
- Write high-quality code that is optimised, bug-free, and
aligned with project goals.
- Communicate progress, risks, and technical challenges to senior
management and stakeholders, providing regular updates on product
development initiatives.
- Architect event-driven systems and microservices for scalable
solutions.
- Cloud architecture expertise, particularly with AWS and
Azure.
- You will architect and build features that our SMB employers
will use daily.
- You will lead by example in maintaining a high standard of
quality in your own work and in the feedback provided to peers in
code review and architecture discussions.
- You will lend your technical knowledge and experience to
influence the team's roadmap and prioritization of innovation and
operational health initiatives such as quality control and on-call.
