for the life of their company.Job DescriptionY Combinator is
looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to work directly
with two of our Group Partners. You'll be responsible for helping
manage their calendar, organizing events, and using internal YC
software to manage communications with our founders and portfolio
companies.The ideal candidate is a self-starter, who's comfortable
working independently based out of our San Francisco headquarters.

team.Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative tasks including scheduling and calendar
management. You'll help schedule internal and external meetings,
preventing conflicts and helping our Group Partners use their time
efficiently.
- Plan, execute, and attend events. You'll be responsible for
helping with the logistics of events organized at the YC office and
other locations, ranging from 20 people to 200 people. You must be
available to work some evenings and (rarely) on weekends. That
said, hours are flexible to accommodate time spent outside of
standard office hours.
- Coordinating travel, and generally able to process ad hoc tasks
expeditiously and proactively including some personal to-dos.
- Work cross-functionally with other YC team members as
needed.
- Writing projects as needed.Skills & Experience:
- You have at least 5 years of experience as an Executive
Assistant or working in an operations/support position.
- Comfortable supporting two executives with different leadership
styles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Evidence of
strong writing ability will be valued especially highly.
- Strong organizational, project management, problem-solving
skills, and multitasking abilities.
- Friendly demeanor.
- Bonus points: You are familiar with startups.Every employee at
YC has a lot of individual responsibility and access to sensitive
information, so we need to hire people we can trust. Your ability
to make good trade-offs and exercise good judgment is particularly
important to us.Location: YC is headquartered in the SF Bay Area.
Candidates must live in the SF Bay Area or be willing to relocate.
Our Executive Assistants must be comfortable working from our San
Francisco office in the Dogpatch at least 3 days per
week.Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 + bonus (depending on skills
and experience).Benefits: Our full benefits package includes
