Job Title: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Job Specialty: Surgical
Services Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 -
07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week
pay period Experience: Specific amount required (e.g., 1 or 2
years) License: Valid CA License required Certifications: To be
provided upon application Must-Have: - Willingness to float between
hospital units or affiliate hospitals - Ability to work 2 out of
the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year -
References from at least two supervisors covering one year of
employment within the last three years Job Description: -
First-timers accepted - Weekend work required - Orientation hours:
40 - Charting experience with Epic is necessary - Open to
accommodating block schedule based on manager's discretion - Local
applicants accepted within a 50-mile radius, though at a lower rate
- Module completion is required pre-start and annually, with an
average of 16 hours spent - Module time must be self-reported -
COVID-19 Vaccine is required (Medical/Religious Exemptions and
Declinations Allowed) - Flu Vaccine requirement is unknown -
Travelers may need to provide their own housing as options may be
limited in the area Note: Floating refusal could result in
termination of assignment.
