This role offers the opportunity to make a huge impact in a fast-growing ecommerce company.JOB DESCRIPTION:We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated Operations Coordinator to manage our wholesale business and assist with supply chain operations. You will work closely with our wholesale customers, raw materials vendors, factory partners, and fulfillment center to ensure that we have high-quality products in the right place at the right time to delight our customers and their pets.This role is based in our San Francisco office (we are currently hybrid and in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays) and reports to our VP of Product and Merchandising.RESPONSIBILITIES:Wholesale Order and Account Management (40%)

  • Set up and manage product listings on all wholesale platforms
  • Manage orders, ensuring that all orders are delivered accurately and on time
  • For national accounts, ensure all vendor manuals and routing guides are accurately implemented
  • Partner with internal Planning and Production teams to ensure adequate inventory availability
  • Oversee our third-party fulfillment center to ensure orders ship accurately and on time. Troubleshoot any stock issues as needed.
  • Manage inbound wholesale applications; set up new accounts and ensure we have all relevant documentationWholesale Customer Support and Sales (20%)
  • Provide excellent support to wholesale customers with the goal of answering inquiries within 24 business hours
  • Upkeep customer resources including merchandising guides, UPC libraries and product images
  • Create wholesale line sheets and presentations to assist with the sales process
  • Coordinate and send samples as needed, and follow up on all samples
  • Execute at least 1 trade show a year (SuperZoo in Las Vegas)Operations and Supply Chain (40%)
  • Own the creation and tracking of purchase orders from placement through delivery at our 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) partner
  • Coordinate the delivery of raw materials to our U.S.-based factories
  • Conduct twice annual in-person supplier site audits at our Bay Area production partners
  • Interact regularly with our 3PL to ensure that inventory, orders, and returns are moving efficiently and accurately as expectedSKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar operational role
  • Proficient in Excel and G-Suite. Experience with Faire and Shopify is a plus
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written skills, with the ability to generate clear, concise, professional, and grammatical communications
  • Strong project manager with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment with many competing priorities
  • A proactive problem solver with a natural instinct to try to solve the issue yourself first, then escalate as needed
  • Positive and can-do attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and take on any task that's needed. A desire to get things DONE above all else
