Job Description:
Compensation: The hourly range for this position is $44.0299 -
52.8810/hr. This opportunity includes a generous benefits
package
New hires typically start at the beginning of the wage
range.Summary:The Conservator (Objects) is responsible for the
conservation, preservation, and technical study of
three-dimensional objects including metals, ceramics, lacquered
objects, archaeological materials, wood, stone, and modern
materials. The collection of time-based media artwork is growing.
The Conservator will help build the preservation program for
time-based media. In support of technical investigations, the
Objects Conservator operates the X-radiography and X-ray
fluorescence spectroscopy equipment and manages the data.
