Purpose of the JobPrincipal Data Scientist leads and drives advanced data science initiatives within the organization. By leveraging mastery in advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and programming, the Principal Data Scientist is responsible for designing and implementing complex AI solutions. This role involves innovatively solving business problems, optimizing algorithms, and deploying AI models to provide data-driven insights that align with the organization's strategic goals. • Develop novel modeling techniques and algorithms, utilizing advanced methodologies like Bayesian inference, reinforcement learning, and causal inference.

• Ph.D. or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 12+ years in data science, machine learning, and AI, with progressive tech leadership roles.
• Mastery in Python, R, SQL, and advanced statistical and ML techniques.
• Experience in designing tailored ML models, optimizing algorithms, and AI solution deployment.
• Experience in designing efficient workflows, automation, and process improvements.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, managing data science teams.
• Driving innovation, staying updated with emerging tech, and ensuring ethical compliance.
• Effective collaboration, adaptability to changing requirements and circumstances.

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location and experience. The base salary is one component of 6sense's total compensation package for this position. Other compensation may include a bonus program or commission plan, and stock options if approved by 6sense's board.
