will oversee the customers implementation and focus on accelerating
the customers time to value. You will engage regularly with
customer stakeholders within Finance and DevOps. Utilizing your
business and technical expertise, you will configure our Cloud
solutions to meet the customers' business objectives and technical
requirements and guide them to effectively manage their growing
cloud spend. You will become part of a team that is driven,

successful.Your role and responsibilitiesOur Cloud Consultants
guide customers to implement our cloud solution and maximize their
investments. This department possesses a unique ability to provide
product mentoring and guide our customers with mature and complex
strategies, through implementation. Our team is committed to

informed decisions on cloud financial management and optimization

- Be the primary product expert during implementation or
onboarding and be able to answer customer questions and manage
objections related to Apptio Cloud product capabilities.
- Deploy your technical skills in service of accelerated customer
value attainment, including hands-on work leveraging Application
Programming Interfaces (APIs) to perform mass-updates of key
configuration components.
- Drive the successful adoption of Apptio's suite of Cloud
products to help customers realize the business value of our
partnership and offerings.
- Work closely with the customer to ensure they become
power-users of our solution, and perform remote training to the
consumers as needed.
- Coordinate with Support, Product Management, R&D, and
Customer Success to ensure the appropriate level of response to
customer needs.
- Assist with driving Apptio best practices and sharing knowledge
throughout the organization.
- Act as customer advocate providing feedback on Product
enhancements and requirements.Note: The list above includes the
primary responsibilities of the role but is not exhaustive. Other
tasks, duties, and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.This
job can be performed from anywhere in the US.Required technical and
professional expertiseBasic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, MIS, Finance, or equivalent
experience.
- 3+ years of Cloud/FinOps experience: Has strong understanding
of applying cloud technologies to a business and is attuned to the
shifts in architecture occurring in the industry.
- Strong analytical and conflict resolutions skills.
- Understands and communicates change management processes and
methodologies to lead discussions around adoption strategies.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical consultant, product
specialist or technical analyst role for medium to large-scale
business software implementation projects.
- Time Management - Uses time effectively and efficiently.
- Customer Focus - Dedicated to meeting the expectations and
requirements of customers.
- Strong to expert skills in data analysis/manipulation and can
leverage API and other tooling to develop creative solutions.
- Hands-on experience, knowledge and application with relational
databases and data modeling.
- Ability to quickly comprehend complex spreadsheets/data to
streamline the underlying processes into the Cloud solution and
quickly detecting and resolving data-related issues; versed in
formulaic logic.Essential Skills:

- Excellent communication skills demonstrated through an ability
to build relationships and communicate complicated technical
concepts in easy-to-understand terms.

- An understanding of customers' business initiatives and FinOps
best practices.
- Ability to work well with others in a high-pressure
environment.Technical Skills:
- Strong to expert hands-on data analysis skills using
exploratory or scripting tools like MS Excel, SQL, Databricks,
Python, R, or equivalent.
- Skilled at quickly detecting and resolving data-related
issues.
- Experience with utilizing REST APIs to interact with SaaS
applications is a plus.
- Knowledge and application of relational database concepts.
- Understanding of Cloud IT infrastructure concepts.
- Certifications from AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI are a
plus.Preferred technical and professional experiencePreferred
Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or higher.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or higher.
- Associate Google Cloud Certified or higher.
- FinOps Certified Practitioner or higher.
