Job Summary:Supermicro is looking for Traffic/Shipping Coordinator in our warehouse department. This role will involved in various projects and support on process improvement to optimize shipping efficiency in the warehouse by supporting outbound shipments. This role will be located in our headquarters operation site in San Jose, CAEssential Duties and Responsibilities:The job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Coordinates and consolidates data for outbound shipment enhancements both domestically and internationally
• Coordinate with warehouse workers and team leaders to fulfill sales orders and internal material transfer requests
• Collect data and coordinate with teams for cost-reduction implementations and project improvements
• Collaborate with inventory teams from order to fulfill requested items
• Monitor and manage inventory, and process shipping and receiving documents
• Manage and consolidate reports, coordinates internal teams to support on various projects
• Adhere to company warehouse policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as instructed by managersQualifications:
  • High school diploma required, college degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 years of working experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills, MS Office a preferred
  • Ability to do basic math calculations
  • Excellent interpersonal communications and organization skills, ability to multi-task while making effective decisions
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamicsPhysical Requirements and Work Conditions:The physical demands and work conditions described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:* Able to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry items.* Perform tasks that require standing and walking for long periods up to entire shift.* Lift, carry, push and pull in an excess of 25lb and up to 40lbs. Able to utilize a "buddy system" for moving objects more than 50 lbs.(For applicable positions: Must be able to operate pallet jack and forklift efficiently and safely.)* Work in an Environment with Noise Level of 85dBA or > for an extended period of time.* Must be able to wear safety shoes, earmuffs or other required PPE as needed.* Primarily works indoors with controlled climate conditions.Salary Range$23/hour - $26/hourThe salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
