POSITION SUMMARYThis role is responsible for acting as our Projects Onsite Project Purchasing Agent, which includes fulfilling material orders, take offs, will call orders, data entry, expediting, invoicing errors, and other duties that the Project Executive and Purchasing Manager determine need support.What you'll do:

• On-site San Francisco, CA. Project Purchasing and placing orders.
• Partner with suppliers to follow-up on delivery dates and back orders. Track the status of all back orders and inform appropriate team members and departments of any issues.
• Maintain current and accurate files of suppliers pricing within the ERP system and purchasing spreadsheets, utilizing COINS ERP.
• Process material receivers and coordinate bulk deliveries of rough products to meet deadlines.
• Process material returns and credits.
• Support the RFQ, RFP Order / Track onsite rental equipment.
• Assist PM's / PE's with equipment purchases.
• Process to obtain product information such as pricing, availability, and delivery schedule.What you'll need to be successful:
• High school degree or G.E.D required.
• Minimum 5-7 years experience in purchasing or customer service support.
• Understanding of purchasing practices and systems preferred.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while planning and executing timely, effectively, efficiently, and accurately.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, quality-oriented, and strong attention to detail required.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite - specifically Excel, database software, and experience using ERP software (COINS preferred).
• Ability to work in a continuous improvement environment.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers, customers, project management team, field staff, and accounting in a team environment.
