Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Interconnection Engineer to
lead the utility interconnection process for energy storage
projects.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage interconnection processes for
front-of-the-meter and behind-the-meter projects
Oversee project portfolios, ensuring timely completion of
interconnection applications and stakeholder coordination
Provide technical guidance and perform peer reviews of engineering
designs related to interconnection applications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 6 years' experience in transmission and distribution
planning for renewable energy projects
Firm understanding of AC/DC fundamentals and power flow
modeling
Extensive knowledge of U.S. power markets, particularly solar and
battery energy storage
Proven experience in mentoring junior engineers and collaborating
across teams
