• - CEO & Cofounder: Aizada is a graduate of Harvard Law School, an attorney with 7+ years of experience including working at a top law firm such as Cooley and an ex-McKinsey consultant.
• - CPO & Cofounder: Assel is a graduate of Harvard Business School and has 7 years of experience building products at FinTechs such as SoFi and Step and at large financial institutions when working at Ernst & Young.What we're looking forWe are looking for a highly-skilled and ambitious frontend engineer with 5+ years of developing web applications who is super pumped about building AI native products to make immigration easy. You will own the products end-to-end and solve the hard problems. We need you to be in the 99th percentile of having a "can-do" attitude.Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the founding team to implement ALMA web applications.
  • Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code, producing visual elements of the product.
  • Develop and maintain all aspects of our web applications, ensuring high performance and seamless integration with our backend.
  • Evaluate and leverage advanced JavaScript/Typescript libraries and frameworks.
  • Build reusable code/components/libraries for future use.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.Role Requirements
    • 5+ years of professional experience as a frontend engineer with a proven track record.
    • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
    • We use React.js and Next.js and deploy the app through Vercel and expect you to have advanced knowledge of them.
    • Familiarity with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
    • Experience with CI/CD workflows such as Github actions and CircleCI.
    • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
    • Knowledge of package manager such as Yarn or NPM and module bundler such as Webpack.
    • Proficient on translating a product design into technical design and UI implementation.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the start-up culture.
    • BS/MS in Computer Science.

      • Experience with design and implement data modeling and APIs.
      • Experience working in a small startup environment (Seed or Series A).
