is headquartered in San Francisco, CA.The OpportunityWe are on the
search for our first ever Customer Engineer to act as the bridge
between our customers and our engineering team. You'll be shipping
feature improvements daily to production, helping our customers
integrate our API, troubleshooting technical issues, and driving
product adoption. If you have an engineering-first background and
are a self-starter passionate about fraud prevention, APIs and
helping banks succeed, this role is for you!Responsibilities
- Developing engineering solutions to address customer pain
points.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot customer issues, handling on-call
requests, collaborating with internal engineers to resolve
technical roadblocks.
- Lead technical integrations of our API with banks and financial
institutions, working closely with their engineering teams and our
internal CS team.
- Advocate for customers, translating their needs into product
improvements and new features.
- Complete security questionnaires and help customers through the
procurement process.
- Develop demo documents, technical documentation,
customer-facing guides, SDKs and internal enablement to streamline
API adoption.
- Work cross-functionally with CS/Sales, Marketing, Product and
Engineering to improve customer experience and retention.About You
- Must have experience with programming/scripting (Python,
JavaScript or similar) to ship high quality code to production, and
support integrations.
- Strong understanding of APIs, web services (REST), and cloud
infrastructure (AWS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate
technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with authentication and security standards (OAuth,
JWT, TLS, encryption).
- Passion for helping customers and improving financial
security.
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles (Customer
Engineering, Solutions Engineering or Developer Support) is a plus
but not required.
- Knowledge of fraud detection, compliance (KYC/AML) or credit
risk in banking/fintech is a plus.Interview Process
- Initial Screen with the Hiring Manager to share your experience
(45 minutes)
- Meet our Co-Founder (CTO) to further discuss the role,
Inscribe's vision and align on values (45 minutes)
- Check In Call with the Head of People to understand your
motivations and expectations (30 minutes)
- Take Home Technical Exercise followed by a live discussion with
2-3 cross-functional team members to assess your technical and
customer-facing ability (1 hour)
- Final candidates will have the chance to meet with our CEO to
answer any lingering questions about the opportunity (30
