Job Description:

with its Executive Director. This role offers a unique opportunity

have experience in academia, research administration, consulting,
or the non-profit sector. They will have an opportunity to
participate in research projects, organize and facilitate key
community events, work collaboratively with creative leaders, and
support the strategic direction of the organization overall. They
will also have an opportunity to learn how to build a futures
practice on a domain they may be passionate
about.Responsibilities
- Project management and administration for all ED-led
initiatives and other projects on an as-needed basis including as a
point person in team and project meetings, managing timelines,
budget tracking and coordinating with all team members
- Development of plans, strategies, and support for ED-related
events and meetings (internal and external)
- Day-to-day administrative support and oversight of the weekly
calendar of the ED
- Coordination with leaders at the organizational and project
levels of IFTF to ensure ED/team alignment on initiatives
- Research assistance as needed, including compiling and editing
research-based briefing materials
- Draft project and stakeholder communications on behalf of the
ED
- Opportunity to develop and lead own projectsRequirements
- Track record of excellent problem-solving and decision-making
skills
- Ability to effectively surface key information to
organizational leaders and project stakeholders and "connect dots"
in a clear, concise manner
- Experience in juggling several diverse tasks under tight
timelines and shifting priorities as needed
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to adapt to
meet specific audiences
- Research and analytical skills
- Experience with group or team management in a project-based
environment a plus
- Proficiency with common software and collaboration tools, such
as Google Enterprise tools (including Docs, Drive, Sheets),
Microsoft Office tools (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with Macintosh computers and Salesforce is a bonus

- Local to the San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula and available to
consistently work regular Pacific Time hours (some in-office days
