Highlights
This role will be the functional subject matter expert for
warehouse automation (ASRS/Sorter/ MHE) and related warehouse
management and warehouse execution systems (WMS/WES) for their
Arizona DC.
Project Description

Duties/Day to Day Overview
Lead product strategy and roadmap development for highly automated,
parcel distribution center operations including automated sourcing
and retrieval systems (ASRS) and "Goods to Person Picking" for
their state-of-the-art Arizona warehouse/distribution center.
--- Collaborate with Business partners, engineering teams and
program management to drive business value for parcel
operations.
--- Drive meaningful business engagement catered to the unique
nuances of each business team and leader, and that builds
credibility and trust
--- Assist in continually improving the product management
organization and making it a great place to work
--- Develop an understanding of the adjacent critical WSI systems
and processes including OMS, transportation, logistics and final
mile
--- Perform other duties as required including travel.
Top Requirements
(Must haves)
8+ years of overall experience in supply chain product management
or operations for parcel warehouse automation
Effectively partner with Operations and technology delivery teams &
QA teams through gathering detailed requirements, presenting the
business value, documenting requirements in JIRA and Visio process
flows.
Provide production level support for Operations and technology
partners for operational go-live and ongoing deployment validation
of new functionality.
Experience with Warehouse Automation, including Sortation, MHE
(Material Handling Equipment), Goods to Person Picking and ASRS
(automated sortation and retrieval systems) and related warehouse
management and warehouse execution systems (WMS/WES).
o Expertise around Manhattan WMOS specifically - required
o Experience related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE) within a
warehouse environment - required
o Experience with ASRS (automated sortation and retrieval systems)
- nice to have
Experience with warehouse conversion to new systems and technology
that require onsite training and hyper-care support.
Experience with unit picking of conveyable product type fulfilment
models
Experience authoring effective JIRA stories for functional
requirements, detailed acceptance criteria and prioritization with
delivery teams
Experience writing functional use cases that are aligned with end
user expectations. Submit data requests required to execute test
cases and obtain end user sign off (UAT).
Drive functional backlog prioritization and lead various
requirement discussions for product enhancements.
Data-driven and metric-based approach to prioritization of
functional enhancements or defects. Ability to quantify impact,
ROI, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and
organizational skills.
