part of Capital One's Enterprise AI and Machine Learning Product
organization, you will contribute directly to shaping the platforms
and tools that thousands of engineers, data scientists and analysts
across the business apply to making decisions, managing risk,
detecting fraud, and delivering intelligent and personalized
customer experiences. You'll have the opportunity to work with
industry-leading and emerging technologies and methods to support
some of the most critical applications as well as the most
promising new use cases for ML and AI.In this role, you will own
developer experience for an Enterprise ML platform, building and
delivering on a strategy and roadmap to enable feature developers
across the business to achieve better results and reduce time to
market with Software Development Kits (SDKs), API services, as well
as code-centric frameworks, abstractions, templates, integrations,
processes and documentation. You will be the team's ambassador for
developer experience internally and externally, advocating for and
driving adoption of a consistent, powerful and easy-to-use set of
tools that addresses needs and alleviates pain points across the
model development lifecycle.The ideal candidate is passionate about
technology and data, and deeply empathizes with engineers and
analysts. They are an outspoken advocate for best practices in code
and data management, excited about the potential to streamline and
automate repetitive work, and ready to get into the weeds on
integration testing and deployment patterns. They keep a finger on
the pulse of modern data and modeling tools and the problems they
solve. They are comfortable in conversation with software
engineering and data science teams as well as non-technical
stakeholders and senior leaders.Product Managers take a holistic
approach to creating value through applying human-centered design
principles, deeply understanding the needs and opportunities in our
business, fostering technological innovation, applying creativity
to solve hard problems and embracing boundaryless leadership. Your
expertise and insight will be integral to accelerating technology
innovation and enabling better customer experiences at Capital
One.Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Cultivate a thorough understanding of the problem space and key
audiences related to modeling at Capital One, as well as the
landscape of partner teams and related enterprise platforms, by
working closely with customers as well as partners in product,
tech, architecture and risk to inform strategy, prioritization and
requirements definition.
- Develop and communicate a compelling vision through clear and
concise presentations, documents and demos of your product's
developer experience, tailoring approaches to a range of audiences
from technical users to internal and customer leadership
teams.
- Make difficult trade-off and prioritization decisions by
working backwards from a customer need and quantifying the value or
strategic benefits of your recommendations.
- Build and maintain partnerships with peers, customers and
stakeholders that enable collaboration towards shared goals,
leveraging strong influence skills to improve the overall
enterprise ecosystem.
- Invest in support, training and documentation materials and
processes that enable self-service adoption for customers and
effective contribution models with partners.
- Manage day-to-day execution with one or more tech teams,
maintaining a healthy backlog, attending agile ceremonies,
escalating issues and resolving impediments.
- Collect and analyze data to track progress, quantify impact and
inform decisions.As a Senior Associate, Product Management within
the AI/ML organization, you'll have access to:
- A suite of products that support the associate experience.
Capital One is reimagining the internal associate experience and
this product manager will be directly responsible for impacting the
change and driving measurable, key results through an existing
product suite, with opportunities to expand the portfolio based on
business and user needs.
- This product manager will work directly with our tech teams and
design partners to enable the various goals across our different
lines of businesses. This associate should be energized about
enabling our internal partners to deliver better experiences for
our associates.
- Assisting in the strategy and product roadmap for the
experience of multiple products.
- Communicating roadmap and business impact with tech teams and
lines of business.
- Working with tech team and Agile partners to define stories,
build, and execute against product roadmap.
- Building connections across lines of business and understand
their various goals.
- Continuously optimizing and improving our app metrics strategy
with lines of businesses to better serve their needs.
- Working with our Design and User Research partners to inform
app and web component development strategy and user experience for
the products.
- Driving and measuring value of the product suite
solutions.
- Mentoring team members on all aspects of the product mindset

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
- At least 1 year of product management experience or at least 4
years of experience in product design, agile delivery, business
analysis, data science, or software engineering.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Mathematics
or related field.
- MBA or Master's degree.At this time, Capital One will not
