Tread is building AI-powered vertical SaaS for one of the largest, most critical industries in the global economy-construction materials logistics. Every road, bridge, and large-scale project relies on this industry, and we're bringing cutting-edge AI to transform how materials move, optimizing truck routing, project planning, and procurement.Our software helps all of our customers (Haulers, Producers, and Contractors) have better visibility of their material, save money, fuel, and time through route planning & optimizing loaded mile delivery, while also delivering exceptional customer service to both haulers and end customers -> with personalized AI agents.Our platform is nearing $150M annualized GMV - demonstrating the scale of the industry that we are serving. We have 30+ paying customers and thousands of in-network hauling companies and drivers using our software every day.
About The Role

Tread is transforming the construction and material logistics industry, and our customers rely on us to not only build software they need, but to guide them on how our software can transform their operations. This is not a traditional account manager role - our customers don't need an order-taker and yet another Excel report. They need an advocate who will drill into their problems, unpack them better than they can, and structure solutions that deliver "holy s***!" moments that only software can do when thoughtfully designed. This is our first Growth Operations hire, meaning you'll play a critical role in shaping how we support, retain, and expand our customer base.To succeed in this role, you'll need to be:

  • Super curious, shameless in your own pursuit of understanding and asking the right questions, unsatisfied until you understand.
  • Comfortable owning problems from start to finish, managing stakeholders you rely on for help, and using data and insights to inform your decisions.
  • Loud for your customers, advocating on their behalf with clarity, precision and actionable solutions.
  • Action oriented - you have a bias for action to get things done now or todayWhat You'll Do:
    • Drive customer launch success on our platform. Identify what makes us sticky with our customers and execute relentlessly to deliver that value.
    • Meet with customers regularly to listen and uncover pain points - learn their operations and understand their workflows so you can be the voice of the customer and influence our roadmap.
    • Identify and execute on opportunities to expand revenue with existing customers.
    • Build a process that minimizes churn by delivering quantifiable value.
    • Leverage AI to:
    • Drive scalable workflows to manage customer feedback and follow through.
    • Build training content that helps educate our customers on using our platform.
    • Plan and facilitate thoughtful, insights-driven QBRs with strategic clients.
