Job Description:

An innovative Fleet Optimization and Vehicle Tracking solutions company is seeking a Logistics Manager to help positively transform the company's Supply Chain and manage their current expansion. This pivotal role within our Supply Chain team will focus on enhancing the efficiency, partnerships, and strategic direction of our logistics network. The ideal candidate will lead a dedicated team, driving improvements and fostering strong relationships with our logistics partners to ensure seamless operations.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and develop a team of direct reports
• Manage and develop (or dissolve) contracts and relationships of 3rd Party Logistics service providers
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3rd-party logistics providers to coordinate the timely movement of freight from origin to destination points (Ocean, TL/LTL, and more)
• Manager relationships with logistics partners
• Pioneer and Facilitate training for employees
• Analyze logistics processes and propose and implement areas of improvement
• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives for the company's TMS procedures
• Keep abreast of shipping rules, regulations, and the transportation market.
• Responsible for managing overall company transportation cost for logistics-related servicesThe successful candidate will ideally have:
  • Bachelor's degree (ideally in an analytical subject)
  • 7+ years experience in Transportation & Logistics
  • Strong process improvement & cost saving accomplishments
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience with managing teams of direct reports
  • Software/Hardware expereince preferred
